This Saturday, we took some time away from our usual hands-on activities for some formal training; the first part of a course on DC Track Circuits.
We are lucky enough to have someone with extensive professional experience in both teaching to and writing training material for S&T, and so can be confident it's at the same level as on the "big railway".
The team have a broad range of educational and professional backgrounds. but informal feedback has been extremely positive, with everyone learning something, and often filling unexpected gaps in their knowledge.
With the theory exam now under our belts, the next step towards competence is to take that knowledge to real hardware outside the classroom. We're looking forward to it!
