Despite the inclement weather, the luminaire mentioned in previous posts was installed above Hotchley Hill’s sign this weekend and with the sky dark and the generator on hand, it seemed a great opportunity to give it a test! While there currently isn’t mains electricity installed this is a sign of things to come as potential methods of connecting a supply to the box are being discussed.
The afternoon was spent inside the locking room away from the weather where the remainder of the existing frame was disassembled ready for cleaning and painting.
