This Saturday, we hired a van, to collect two important sets of equipment.
First, a pair of location cases for Ruddington Fields. These contain the track circuit and points control gear for the buffers-end of the station. They have been fitted-out and wired for us off-site, and represent a large portion of the work required to finish that sub-project.
In the afternoon, we collected the replacement lever-frame for Hotchley Hill from Swithland, and took it to its new home. The locking room is very nearly ready for it to be assembled, and we are looking forward to bolting the kit of parts together!
