As we keep going with the floor works, there seems to be less and less to write.  This week we finished off Phase Two, the south side of the floor, where you walk in through the door.  Measure, cut, level, secure. The activity isn't all that exciting, but the change in the room's appearance absolutely is.  I'll let the photos speak for themselves there.

We also prepared for Phase three, which is the same job, but mirrored on the north side of the building.  Removing the old floor, of course, drops a lot of muck onto the floor below.  Not just dirt and rotten splinters, but larger bits of wood too.  For Phase two, we moved everything in the locking room to the north end, out of the way.  Now, of course, it all had to move back the other way, leaving a nice clear space, ready for next week.
